• Payment information (processed securely via Razorpay; we do not store card details)
• Event registration data including attendance history
• Profile photograph (if uploaded)
• Membership status and committee roles

Your information is used solely for the purposes of managing your membership and community participation:

• Sending member communications including event announcements and newsletters
• Managing event registrations and generating attendance records
• Processing payments for events via Razorpay
• Admin review and approval of new member registrations
• Sending SMS notifications via MSG91 for important updates
• Sending transactional emails via Resend for confirmations and receipts

03. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Your data is shared only with the following service providers, strictly for the purpose of operating the portal:

• Razorpay — payment processing for event fees
• MSG91 — SMS delivery for OTP and notifications
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Railway — secure cloud hosting and PostgreSQL database

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy and security policies. We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of KDPMM members.

04. Data Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously and have implemented the following measures:

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text
• All data transmission is protected by HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Member data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway
• Access to member data is restricted to authorised administrators only

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

05. Member Rights

As a member of the KDPMM portal, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated personal data
• Portability — request your data in a commonly used format

06. Cookies

The KDPMM portal uses cookies solely for authentication purposes. We set a secure, httpOnly session cookie when you log in to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

Your session cookie is automatically deleted when you log out or when your session expires.
