Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kapadwanj Dasha Porwad Mitra Mandal ("KDPMM") Member Portal. By registering or using this portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

01. Membership Eligibility

The KDPMM portal is exclusively open to members of the Kapadwanj Dasha Porwad community. To register:

• You must be a member or family member of the Kapadwanj Dasha Porwad samaj
• All registrations are subject to review and approval by the KDPMM administration team
• KDPMM reserves the right to decline or revoke membership at its discretion
• You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account independently

02. Member Responsibilities

As a registered member, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and profile updates
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with others
• Not misuse the portal for purposes outside its intended scope of community management
• Notify KDPMM immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Conduct yourself with respect and dignity in all interactions facilitated by the portal

03.Event Registrations & Payments

When registering for events through the portal:

• Event registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by KDPMM
• All payment transactions are processed securely by Razorpay; KDPMM does not store your payment card details
• By completing payment, you confirm your intention to attend the registered event
• KDPMM reserves the right to modify event details, venue, or schedule with reasonable notice
• Payment receipts and confirmations will be sent to your registered email address

04. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

• Event cancelled by KDPMM: A full refund will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method
• Voluntary cancellation by member: No refund will be issued for cancellations initiated by the member
• Partial attendance: No partial refunds are available for events partially attended
• Refund requests for exceptional circumstances may be considered at the sole discretion of the KDPMM committee

05. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the KDPMM portal:

• Sharing your login credentials with any other person
• Uploading inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content including images or comments
• Misrepresenting your identity or community affiliation
• Attempting to access accounts or data belonging to other members
• Using the portal for commercial solicitation or advertising without prior written consent from KDPMM
• Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the portal's functionality

06. Intellectual Property

All content on the KDPMM portal — including text, images, logos, event materials, and design elements — is the property of Kapadwanj Dasha Porwad Mitra Mandal. Members may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or republish any portal content without prior written permission from KDPMM
• Use KDPMM branding, logos, or materials for personal or commercial purposes
• Claim ownership over any content created or published by KDPMM

Members retain ownership of personal content they upload (such as profile photos), but grant KDPMM a non-exclusive licence to display such content within the portal.

07. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• KDPMM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal
• KDPMM's maximum aggregate liability to any member shall not exceed the total membership fee paid by that member in the preceding 12 months
• KDPMM does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the portal
• KDPMM is not responsible for the actions or conduct of other members

08. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

09. Changes to Terms

KDPMM reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. When changes are made, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and may notify members via email or SMS. Your continued use of the portal following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
